Visegrad Scholarship Program (VSP) A special program of the Visegrad Fund, created to promote academic exchange by providing financial assistance to students and researchers - citizens of the Visegrad Group member countries: the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, as well as foreign citizens (including Russian citizens) to study in the V4 VXNUMX countries ( Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia). The scholarship is awarded for a minimum of 1 semester and up to 2 semesters for postgraduate programs (PhD / postdoc). For Masters programs, the maximum length of stay and financing of students is 4 semesters. The purpose of the scholarship program is to develop mobility and the exchange of experience between educational institutions of the Visegrad Four countries. Persons who have been selected and become scholarship holders for the above program receive funding in the amount of 2300 euros per semester (the cost of training may vary at different universities, so it is not a fact that the scholarship can fully cover the cost of training). You should be aware that the program involves the payment of scholarships for a period of study from 1 to 4 semesters. In addition, the host institution also receives 1500 euros per semester for providing the new student or postgraduate student with optimal conditions for quality education. If the distance between the receiving university and the university in which the scholarship holder studies or works is more than 1500 kilometers, such a scholarship holder can count on a one-time grant, which is issued to compensate for travel expenses.
