If you decide to study in Spain

If you are determined to study in Spain, you should consider the following:

In most universities, programs are read in Spanish. However, every year, with the growing popularity of education in Spain, the number of English-language programs is also growing. For admission to English-language programs, you will need to pass the TOEFL or IELTS exam, for admission to programs in Spanish, the DELE exam is most often taken.

For admission to a university, you need to pass the Spanish Selectividad exam, which consists of two parts. The first part includes compulsory subjects: Spanish and another foreign language. It is also necessary to pass three subjects, the list of which is determined by the chosen specialty. Selectividad is usually prepared in special courses for 8 months. To study at a university, it is also necessary to present a certificate of secondary education with final grades. If you are already a student at a Russian university and want to transfer to Spanish, you may not need to take Selectividad. In this case, you will need to confirm the level of language proficiency, as well as provide a certificate of incomplete education and a description of the subjects taken with a translation into Spanish.
