If you decide to study in Spain

If you are determined to study in Spain, consider the following:

In most universities, programs are read in Spanish. However, every year with the growing popularity of education in Spain, the number of English-language programs is growing. When enrolling in English-language programs, you will need to pass the TOEFL or IELTS exam; when enrolling in Spanish programs, the DELE exam is most often taken.

To enter the university you must pass the Spanish Selectividad exam, which consists of two parts. The first part includes compulsory subjects: Spanish and another foreign language. It is also necessary to hand over three subjects, the list of which determines the chosen specialty. Selectividad is usually prepared in special courses for 8 months. To study at a university, it is also necessary to present a certificate of secondary education with final grades. If you are already a student at a Russian university and want to transfer to Spanish, you may not need to take Selectividad. In this case, you will need to confirm the level of language proficiency, as well as provide a certificate of incomplete education and a description of the subjects passed with a translation into Spanish.
